Your Role
The Installation Manager is responsible for coordinating and carrying out the installation of artworks and displays intended for public spaces while ensuring the quality of the work performed and client satisfaction. They oversee the activities of their installation team on-site, maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders, and contribute to the optimization of installations across Quebec and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Install artworks and displays for public spaces using various assembly and installation techniques;
Take accurate measurements in a professional manner;
Perform quality control inspections following installation and ensure compliance with client expectations and company quality standards;
Supervise, lead, and plan the work of the installation team based on project plans provided by the Project Manager;
Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients, identify their needs, and effectively communicate relevant information to the team;
Coordinate internal activities required to ensure efficient and successful installations;
Maintain clear and professional technical communication with clients;
Travel throughout Quebec and internationally as required;
When no installation projects are scheduled, assist with production and manufacturing activities in the workshop.
Desired Profile
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in on-site installation work;
Experience in manufacturing or production environments (e.g., woodwork, welding, assembly, etc.);
ASP Construction certification (asset);
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans;
Proficiency in various assembly and installation techniques;
Experience traveling internationally for work assignments;
Valid passport;
Valid driver's license;
Forklift operator certification (asset);
Bilingual in English and French to communicate with English-speaking clients when required.
