Chute-Montmorency Pavilion

At the foot of Montmorency Falls, the Hydro-Québec Space offers an interpretive setting that highlights the site’s hydroelectric history through a design that blends naturally with its surroundings.

Designed by Studio Overall, the structure takes the form of an arch composed of 97 polished aluminum slats. Historical markers integrated throughout the development trace the evolution of the site, making the architecture itself a tool for interpretation.

Jack World provided the technical design, fabrication, and installation of this custom structure. Each component was developed to preserve the precision of the design while meeting the requirements of an outdoor structure that can be dismantled and stored during the off-season.

Designed as a place for discovery, the pavilion invites visitors to experience this remarkable landmark from a new perspective.
