In the public realm, three large rotating structures invite people to interact with them like giant spinning tops, transforming a familiar gesture into a playful and participatory activity.
The concept by Perséides Studio for Partenariat du Quartier des spectacles is expressed through three Diamants that respond to the movements of the public. During the day, their surfaces reflect the surrounding light. As night falls, they reveal a swirl of luminous lines accompanied by a musical composition that evolves with their speed of rotation.
Jack World provided the technical design, fabrication, and installation of the structures. Each one was developed to allow smooth interaction while meeting the requirements of repeated public use.
Les Diamants transforms a simple gesture into a shared moment where each interaction contributes to the evolution of the performance.
