Les terrasses Roy

In the heart of Plateau-Mont-Royal, Les Terrasses Roy transforms a section of Roy Street into a pedestrian area inviting the community to rediscover this part of the neighbourhood.

Imagined by Castor and Pollux, the project is part of an approach focused on reclaiming public space. Composed of four planted and edible islands, this oasis offers a new way to inhabit the neighbourhood by creating a setting that encourages gathering and everyday life.

Jack World provided the technical design, fabrication, and installation of the custom urban furnishings. The project required translating the initial concept into elements adapted to intensive outdoor use while preserving the playful character and visual identity of the development.

Les Terrasses Roy gives new purpose to a space once dedicated to vehicle circulation, creating a place where people can slow down and enjoy their surroundings.
