Machines de l'imaginaire
At Montreal’s Grande Bibliothèque, Les Machines de l’imaginaire invite visitors to explore BAnQ’s collections in a new way through a series of interactive devices that transform heritage discovery into an immersive journey.
Imagined by studio Dpt., the concept unfolds through seven unique machines, each offering a different way to engage with the content presented.
Jack World provided the technical design, fabrication, and installation of the entire project. Each machine was custom-developed to meet its specific functional requirements while respecting the project’s intent and the experience envisioned for the public.
Through these interactive devices, BAnQ’s heritage takes on a new form, sparking curiosity and revealing its stories from a different perspective.
