Musical Swings
In the public realm, Musical Swings transforms the simple act of swinging into a collective creation where participants’ movements become a musical composition.
Imagined by Daily tous les jours, the concept is built around a series of swings, each producing a different sound. When movements become synchronized, the notes harmonize and reveal a collaborative dimension where each person contributes to the whole.
Deployed in various contexts around the world, the installation brings diverse audiences together through an intuitive and accessible interaction.
For the permanent installations on which Jack World collaborated, the team provided the technical design and fabrication of the structures. The mandate required the development of durable and precise components while integrating the technologies needed for interaction without compromising the artwork’s clean aesthetic.
Musical Swings creates a moment where individual gestures take on a new dimension when shared.
